KENOSHA, Wisc. — Nintendo Switch owner Kyle Goulet said today that he is desperately hoping Nintendo will announce Netflix support for the console during its upcoming Nintendo Direct, because he doesn’t own a single other piece of technology that can already do that.
“I really hope that they’ll announce a Netflix app for Switch during the Nintendo Direct. That would be so exciting, because it would finally allow me to become a member of the Netflix service and watch as many streaming TV shows and movies as I want,” explained Goulet, while surrounded by his laptop, smartphone, tablet, Apple TV, PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and 3DS.
“This is gonna be even bigger than when they launched Hulu on Switch two years ago. I was so excited to finally check out that show Family Guy. It was so hilarious,” added Goulet. “Now I’ll be able to finally find out if The Office lives up to the hype, too!”
Goulet added that he was especially grateful that Nintendo added the incredibly important YouTube app to the Switch, because otherwise he would have absolutely no way of watching the Nintendo Direct in the first place.
